WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Traffic, Transport, and Urban Planning has allocated two million guilders for five new buses for Autobusbedrijf Curaçao (ABC), as announced by the government. 

Charles Cooper, the Minister of Traffic, Transport, and Urban Planning (VVRP), has played a leading role in securing this substantial amount. ABC hopes to purchase the new buses later this year with the aim of improving public transportation on Curaçao. 

The financing has been established in consultation with the Minister of Finance, Javier Silvania. 

In addition to the two ministers, John Cijntje from ABC was present to formally receive the financing.
