Two men arrested in connection with theft from tourists' car near Watamula

WILLEMSTAD - On Monday afternoon, March 20, two suspects were arrested in connection with theft from a tourist's car at Watamula, a popular tourist attraction on the north side of the island.  

 

Police received a report of the theft at around 12:19 a.m. and immediately dispatched a unit to the location. The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects had vandalized the family's vehicle and stolen belongings.  

 

After a search, the police managed to locate the suspects' vehicle near Groteberg. At this location, the suspects were arrested and the stolen items were seized.  

 

The suspects have been identified as C.J.M., 22 years old, and U.F.M., 38 years old.
