Two commissioners resign from RdK after choice preferred bidder

WILLEMSTAD - Two members of RdK’s Supervisory Board have resigned. Sources close to the refinery indicate that the two commissionars are Elvis Quarton and Randolph Camelia. Both disagree with to name Venezuela group Socap headed by millionaire Luis Giusti as the preferred bidder for the take over of the Curaçap refinery.

Last year, the Pisas cabinet set up a selection committee charged with the search for a new operator for the oil refinery. The Council of Ministers supports the choice of this committee. Giusti previously led the PdVSA and now lives in the US. He is an expert on petroleum and energy.
