Travel with sedula (ID) extended

WILLEMSTAD - The pilot project 'traveling with sedula' has been extended. For residents with Dutch nationality, it is possible to travel with the identity document in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.

With the exception of Aruba. The country is not participating in the trial. To travel to Aruba, travelers must have their passports at hand. The pilot project will run until the end of this year. That was decided during the Judicial Consultation (JVO) in Aruba. The consultations between the four ministers of justice took place physically for the first time since the start of the corona pandemic.
