WILLEMSTAD - Tomorrow convicted former Minister of Finance George Jamaloodin will be in court again. In that case, a pro forma hearing must be held in the run-up to his appeal case.

He was previously sentenced to 28 years in prison for his involvement in the murder of Helmin Wiels. The judge will now look at the progress of the investigative requests of Peppie Sulvaran, Jamaloodin's lawyer.

Handling of the appeal will begin in the week of January 11. The pre-trial hearing was in June.
