WILLEMSTAD - Police caught three robbers red-handed yesterday. At the time, the suspects were stealing car parts from the fishing port of Caracas Bay. The officers surprised the perpetrators who fled in a car. The police then went after them.

The officers had to fire several warning shots. It was not until Schottegatweg West that the police were able to stop the vehicle and arrest the suspects. Following the arrests, three raids were made in Gilbraltar, Sto. Domingoweg and Blanquillaweg. There, the police seized various items that are important for the investigation. The suspects are in custody.
