WILLEMSTAD - The man who died in traffic yesterday morning is the 66-year-old Curaçaoan Hubert Adelina. He was on his way to Bandábou, the western side of the island when an oncoming car started to pass another vehicle.

They collided head-on.

The victim had his safety belt on, but the car did not have an airbag. Adelina died on the spot from his injuries. He is the third fatal death of this year.
