The Red Cross wants a structural solution for the Venezuelan refugee problem

WILLEMSTAD - The Red Cross is calling for a structural solution to the distressing fate of Venezuelan fugitives in Curacao and Aruba.

The refugees must now find out for themselves how they can get food, medicine and shelter. Various media reports about the visit of the Red Cross of Marieke van Schaik to the islands.

Belinda van der Gaag is the spokesperson for the relief organization in the Netherlands, and the immediate reason for the call now being made is the situation the director found on the islands.
