The Pieter family hires a lawyer

WILLEMSTAD - The family of Jarzinho Pieter wants to go to court.

The goalkeeper died on September 9 in Haiti when he was on the island with the Curaçao soccer team for the Nations League of the CONCACAF Games. The 31-year-old Pieter was reportedly not feeling well for some time and died in his hotel room at night. The cause of death has not been officially announced to date.

Pieter's family has since hired a lawyer and they are looking into possibilities for taking legal action against the football association. General practitioner and MAN Member of Parliament Yves Schoop states that there must be an investigation into the care and actions prior to Pieter's death.
