The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations must strengthen the coordinating task

THE HAGUE - The policymakers in The Hague have too little regard and respect for the differences between the Caribbean and European parts of the Netherlands.

Moreover, there is not enough coordination between the various ministries, which does not produce clear policies for the ministry. These are some of the conclusions in the report of the Interdepartmental Policy Study on Kingdom Relations (IBO). The coordinating task of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations is not well reflected.

The role of the ministry is not clear, according to the IBO, while it was already concluded in 2013 that that role should be strengthened.
