WILLEMSTAD - The Minister of Finance, mr. drs. Javier Silvania, recently met with the Supervisory Board of the Central Bank of Curaçao and St. Maarten (CBCS). During this meeting, Mr. Silvania, on behalf of the Council of Ministers, informed the members of the Supervisory Board that they would not be reappointed as supervisory directors at the Central Bank for a second term after their resignation in August of this year.

On this occasion, the Minister thanked the outgoing members for the services they had rendered over the past four years. Steps have now been taken to fill the vacancies in the Supervisory Board of the CBCS in August.
