The Joint Court of Justice introduces press guidelines

WILLEMSTAD - The Common Court of Justice on the six islands is introducing new press guidelines with house rules for the press. The old version from 2014 is no longer up to date.

The new version has been updated on new insights acquired. According to the Court, the guidelines create clarity about what the press can expect from the employees of the Court and how the judiciary provides the press with information before, during and after court cases.

One of the new house rules is the accreditation of journalists. In order for journalists to gain access to the press facilities of the Court, they must carry a press card issued by the Court.

Journalists who use the press facilities of the Court undertake to comply with these press guidelines.
