WILLEMSTAD - COVID-19 measures for restaurants will be relaxed somewhat. Catering establishments with an outside terrace may receive guests on that terrace up to a maximum of 50% of their capacity. From tomorrow, May 4, restaurants may again offer curbside pick-up meals.
Prime Minister Rhuggenaath announced this during a press conference this morning. The tables on terraces must be at least 2 meters apart. The closing time for catering is 8 pm.
The license plate of the day regulation will be maintained for the time being. This means that people can use the catering industry two days a week. The new rules for the catering industry are provisionally valid until 17 May. Then the government re-evaluates.
