The Social Insurance Bank (SVB) informs all insured parties that this month (1 September to 30 September 2020), there will be the opportunity to change GPs free of charge. Policyholders can change GPs once a year.

Procedure

Any insured person who wishes to change doctor for himself or for one of his/her family members must make an appointment via sita.svbcur.org. You can make 1 appointment per family. The insured must bring a valid proof of identity (sédula, passport, or driving license) and his / her insurance card. An authorized representative must present his ID, authorization letter, and ID of the insured person. The insured person must agree in advance with the desired general practitioner whether he/she needs a confirmation from the doctor to register at the SVB.
