Summer Session of Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation Postponed

THE HAGUE – The summer edition of the Interparliamentary Kingdom Consultation (IpKo) has been postponed.

The biannual meeting, which brings together parliamentarians from the four countries of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, was initially scheduled for June 2025. However, due to the NATO Summit taking place in The Hague later that month, the Dutch delegation has proposed moving the IpKo session to September instead.

The January edition of IpKo, which was supposed to be held in Aruba, was canceled due to the election period in the Dutch Caribbean territories. To ensure that the consultation takes place this year, the summer edition will still be held, albeit at a later date.

The Dutch proposal must still be formally approved by the IpKo Presidium before the new date is confirmed.
