WILLEMSTAD – The Permit Office (Lokèt di Pèrmit) has announced additional dates and extended hours to accommodate parents and guardians submitting applications for the 2025–2026 School Transport program. These special Saturday openings are specifically for individuals returning for school transport reapplications.
Applications officially began on Thursday, July 3, 2025, and can be submitted both online at https://loketdigital.gobiernu.cw/onderwijs/schooltransport and in person at the Permit Office.
Extra Saturday application dates:
Saturday, July 26
Saturday, August 9
Saturday, August 16
Saturday, August 23
Applications can be submitted in person on these days between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Required Documents:
Letter from the school confirming the child’s enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year, with school stamp and signature.
Valid ID (Cedula, Driver’s License, or Passport) of the parent(s) or legal guardian submitting the request.
ID of the student (Cedula or SVB card if no Cedula).
Proof of income for both parents:
If employed: most recent salary slip.
If unemployed: income declaration from the Tax Inspectorate (can also be requested via email: inkomensverklaring@gobiernu.cw).
If recently laid off: official letter and last salary slip.
If receiving government assistance: MCB card from SOAW.
Family Book, Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, or Census Extract (information must be clearly visible).
Guardians must present the Court Decision (Beschikking) assigning custody.
For students residing at an institution:
A letter from the institution confirming residency.
ID of the person submitting the application and proof they are employed at the institution.
