WILLEMSTAD - Last week a group of clients from the Fundashon Verriet (location Savaan) visited the Marine Education Center of Carmabi. During the visit the clients received information about our sea and everything that lives in it.

The guides of the Marine Education Program of Carmabi provided information about the coral reef, sharks and turtles. There was also time for a tour of the Marine Education Center, where among other things a turtle's nest and a dolphin skeleton can be seen. During the visit, impressive videos about fish and turtles were viewed.

Around 10,000 school children from Curaçao participate in the Education program every year. In addition, the Education Center is open to the public every Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Guided tours are also organized for groups on request and educational children's parties can be organized. For the clients of the Fundashon Verriet it was a pleasant, educational trip and they got a glimpse into the special life under water.
