Second British variant infection on Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD - A second case of the British variant of the coronavirus has been identified in Curaçao.

This infection is linked to the first person who became infected with it. The Public Health Department (GGD) had sent 81 test samples to the Netherlands to see if there were any variants other than the original COVID-19 virus.

According to epidemiologist Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth, there are more infections of the British variant in Curaçao, because not everyone that are infected shows corona symptoms.
