THE HAGUE - The Curaçao European candidate Samira Rafaela did not make it into the European Parliament. Her party, D66, went back from four to two and she was in third place on the list of candidates.

She was also the only one to campaign on the ABC Islands. Rafaela still has a small chance. If the United Kingdom leaves the European Union, the Netherlands will get three more seats.

But the chance that one of them goes to D66 is also small.
