WILLEMSTAD - The Roman Catholic Secondary Technical School (RK-MTS) closes its doors for one week. Members of the teaching team are infected with Covid-19 and are in quarantine.
The government has announced in a press release that the school will not be open from November 30 to December 4. A number of teachers have tested positive for Covid-19 and after internal consultation, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has decided to temporarily close the school.
The ministry says that via the known communication channels to parents and students will be announced how the educational process will continue. The management will also take into account that the students are now in their test week.
The students of the R.K. MTS are expected back at the school at Groot Davelaar on December 7.
