Rhuggenaath talks to Alcalá-Wallé

WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath recently had "an open and good conversation" with Marilyn Alcalá-Wallé.

As is known, Alcalá-Wallé has recently filed a complaint against President of Parliament Ana Maria Pauletta, also of the PAR party. According to Alcalá-Wallé, the president of parliament wanted to incite forgery.

PAR leader Rhuggenaath wants to bring peace back to the party and has contacted Alcalá-Wallé. He thinks that it has been a good conversation. He has not given further details about the meeting.

Alcalá-Wallé must officially announce whether she wants to return to parliament now that Jeser El Ayoubi has surrendered his seat. If Alcalá-Wallé renounces this, the PAR wants Emmilou Capriles to take a seat in parliament on behalf of the party.

Capriles is 11th on the 2017 election list and can now enter parliament. She is not on the candidate list for the upcoming elections.
