WILLEMSTAD - Following Amnesty International, the American Refugees International has now also condemned the situation with Venezuelans in Curaçao.

The organization was on the island in February and says that the situation in Curaçao is possibly the worst in all of South America.

Due to the lack of refugee policy, Venezuelans are vulnerable and easily exploited. Refugees International calls on Curaçao, America and the Netherlands to put an end to the situation and to give Venezuelans a temporary residence permit.
