Refinery unions support Venezuelan millionaire for take over

WILLEMSTAD - “The group of the wealthy Venezuelan Luis Giusti has to take over the oil refinery! That is the view of the six local unions that represent employees in the petroleum industry. In a letter to the Council of Ministers, the unions set an ultimatum.

The negotiating partner must be known by 1 July at the latest. Giusti's Socap Corp tops the list of the three candidates interested in running the oil refinery. Before Hugo Chavez came to power, Giusti was director of the Venezuelan state company PDVSA.
