WILLEMSTAD - Last Friday (April 30), a Red Cross delegation briefed the Governor of Curaçao about the completion of their food aid program in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The food support was taken over by the government of Curaçao, the Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare (SOAW) on 1 May.

The Governor, Mrs. L.A. George-Wout, is also patron of the Red Cross Curaçao. The delegation of the Red Cross Curaçao, consisting of the chairman, Mr. A. Palm, Mrs. M. Schurbay and Mr. H. Stomp, reported on the COVID Relief Program on this occasion and presented the Financial Statements 2020 to their patroness.
