WILLEMSTAD - A fierce fire yesterday destroyed the Red Cross office in Sufisant. According to Red Cross commander Hendrik Stomp, the organization will be ready again from the beginning of next week to help people in need with food packages.

Yesterday afternoon around 4.30 pm a report came in about a fire in the Red Cross building. The fire developed from the roof and quickly spread to the entire building.

According to sources, 250 food packages were also lost.
