Protect your personal information; Banco di Caribe warns all its customers

WILLEMSTAD - A text message has recently been distributed informing Banco di Caribe customers that the use of their Visa account has been restricted due to suspicious transactions. In addition, Banco di Caribe customers are asked to reactivate their account by clicking on a link to provide their credit card details.

There are several methods that people with bad intentions use to access your personal or bank account information. They ask you by email, SMS or WhatsApp to verify or confirm, among other things, your phone number, PIN, credit card or bank account number. This is called phishing.

Banco di Caribe will never send a text message or e-mail to reactivate your Visa Account or ask for other personal information. It is important to always keep your personal information safe. That is why we ask you never to click on links, nor to provide requested information when receiving said messages.

Banco di Caribe has several security measures in place to protect the personal data of the customers, but your cooperation in mitigating these incidents is needed, for which we appreciate your support by reporting these illegal activities to our customer service at customersupport@bancodicaribe.com.
