WILLEMSTAD - In the more than 82 years that Curacao Beverage Bottling Company (CBBC) has been active in Curaçao, the company's objective has remained authentic. CBBC does this by responsibly creating brands that consumers love and by constantly coming up with innovations.

One of these innovations is the launch of Dasani Purified Water and Dasani Sparkling Water in a can. At the same time, the company launched five new canned flavors of Minute Maid Juice, namely: Guava; Orange; Peach; Mango and Apple. The reason for this innovation is the preference of some consumers to reduce their plastic use.

Recycle Campaign

The cans are made from 70% recycled aluminum and can be recycled again and again. Like all other Coca-Cola packaging, these cans are also 100% recyclable. CBBC's Marketing and Sustainability Manager adds: “There are now locations in various places in Curaçao to deposit our packaging, so that it can be used again to make other products. Coca-Cola is currently running a campaign together with GreenPhenix where people have the chance to win great prizes when they hand in their empty packaging for recycling. Dasani Purfied and Sparking Water

The DASANI watermark has always been at the forefront of reducing "carbon footprints". This started in Curaçao with the launch in 2015 of the first fully recyclable bottle made from an average of 35% of plants, the so-called "PlantBottle". Now this addition of Dasani in can on Curaçao has been added.

Minute Maid Juices

The Minute Maid juices from CBBC have been a household name on the island since 2006. Over the years, CBBC has expanded the range of quality drinks to ten flavors in 12oz bottles, such as Orange, Peach Mango, Cranberry Grape and Tropical Blend. The distributor also offers 6oz cardboard tetra packs in five flavors such as 100% Apple juice and Fruit Punch. Large packs in 1L are also available in Orange Pulpy and Apple flavors. And now, as a final addition, the delicious, full flavors of Guava; Orange; Peach; Mango and Apple canned. These flavors are particularly good to combine during a meal at any time of the day.
