WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Traffic, Transport, and Urban Planning (VVRP) informs citizens and organizations that if necessary, they can submit an objection, in a timely manner and accompanied by all required documents, against the decrees issued by the ministry.
Here is a summary of the important points to include in an objection:
Name and surname: As indicated on a valid identification document. In the case of a legal entity, a Chamber of Commerce registration and a copy of the statutes must be included. If another person (not a lawyer) submits the objection on behalf of the individual or legal entity, an authorization must also be attached.
Address information: This must be the residential address of the individual submitting the objection or the address of the establishment in the case of a legal entity.
Contact information: An email address and phone number where the person submitting the objection can be reached.
Decree being objected to: A description of the decree, such as a construction permit or another decision.
Interest of the person submitting the objection: A description of the interest the person has in submitting the objection.
Basis of the objection: The person submitting must clarify the legal basis or principles of proper governance on which the objection is based, including the relevant facts.
Submission deadline: The objection must be submitted within six weeks of the decree's date. Objections can be sent via email to bezwaarschriftenvvrp@gobiernu.cw or in person at the Ministry of VVRP office located at Seru di Ararat.
