WILLEMSTAD, PANAMA CITY - Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath of Curaçao met with President Juan Carlos Varela of Panama this week. A pleasant meeting where the two dignitaries got a chance to catch-up on the developments concerning their countries, but also regional developments including the situation in Venezuela.
They discussed the strengthening of economic ties, with a 'Holland House' of the Chamber of Curaçao opening in Panama and a potential 'Oficina de Comercio i Turismo de Panama' in Curaçao. They spoke about collaboration to boost tourism to and in between the countries with multi- destination and cruise offerings.
The Prime Minister said on his social media: “Panama and Curaçao, are obvious partners!”
