Press walks out before the start of the press conference

WILLEMSTAD - The entire press walked out prior to the weekly press conference of the Council of Ministers. The press conference was supposed to start yesterday at 2 am, but at half past two there was still no sign of anyone.

In the meantime, communication staff had indicated that there was some delay, without giving a clear reason.

During the press conference, Sahayra Nisbet, ad interim secretary of the Ministry of Education and Wladimir Kleinmoedig, director of Education, were supposed to talk about integrity.

After waiting for half an hour, the press's patience was exhausted, and it was decided jointly to leave the press room in Fort Amsterdam.
