PARAMARIBO - Surinamese President Santokhi and his wife will be visiting Curaçao and Aruba this month. The Surinamese press refers to it as a state visit, but it qualifies as such only when conducted by the head of state of one country at the invitation of the head of state of another country.

Surinamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Albert Ramdin will also be present. The purpose of this trip is to further strengthen bilateral relations between Suriname and Curaçao and Aruba.
The official visit is scheduled for October 22 to 23, with Aruba following afterwards.
