Police: Need to file a complaint? Do it digitally!

WILLEMSTAD - The police point out that reporting a crime should be done digitally as much as possible in connection with Covid-19. The police made this known earlier, but apparently not everyone is sufficiently aware of it.

The police said in a statement on Thursday that the report should be e-mailed to the nearest police station. It is important that the full name and telephone number of the person filing the complaint is included in addition to the report.

The police will then contact the person within a short time to make an appointment to formalize the report. For emergencies, the person can always contact the police immediately.

If someone cannot file a report by e-mail, they can contact the police station to make an appointment to file the report in person. The police emphasize that the date and time of an appointment must be exactly met.
