WILLEMSTAD – A man fell from a balcony of a house on Kaya Turkesa on Wednesday morning and was seriously injured. The man was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical treatment. 

A 22-year-old woman has been arrested on charges of assault and attempted murder after an altercation with her partner led to the dramatic incident. 

According to the investigation, the dispute between the woman and the man started at 12:25 AM inside the house on Kaya Turkesa. The argument reportedly escalated into a physical confrontation, which resulted in the man falling from the balcony and injuring himself. Emergency services quickly transported him to the hospital for care. 

Around 1:05 AM, the woman was arrested by police. She is suspected of assaulting the man and deliberately causing him to fall. 

The police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident in order to determine the exact sequence of events.
