Police against the introduction of dark-tinted car windows

WILLEMSTAD - The introduction of dark-tinted car windows is not an option, according to the police. Especially if you can barely see through it.

There were many discussions in parliament when the political party MFK wanted to legalize the tinted windows. A police source indicated that the windows make it more difficult to do their job. For example, the police cannot catch drivers for not wearing a seat belt or calling behind the wheel. It is also more difficult to find or follow suspects.

The police source indicates that it can also cause obstacles in traffic. Drivers can no longer look each other in the eye in certain traffic situations.
