PNP to Outline Key Focus Areas for Upcoming Elections in Press Conference

WILLEMSTAD – The Partido Nashonal di Pueblo (PNP), one of Curaçao's political parties, will hold a press conference at 3:00 PM on Thursday at the party headquarters. During the event, the party will outline its main priorities for the upcoming elections, scheduled for March 21.

The PNP made headlines in August when it ended its three-year coalition with the MFK party after MFK's parliamentary faction withdrew its support for two members of the green party. According to the latest electoral survey by the Kenniscentrum, 13% of voters who have made their decision stated that they plan to vote for the PNP. This makes the PNP the party that appears to be receiving the second-highest number of votes, after MFK.

In the 2021 elections, the PNP secured four seats, the same as the PAR, while MFK won nine seats, MAN earned two, KEM secured one, and Trabou pa Kòrsou also won one seat.
