WILLEMSTAD - Leader of the current opposition party MFK Gilmar "Pik" Pisas says the air conditioning in the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) is the reason he contracted his corona infection a few months ago.

He warns visitors to be careful and immediately throw away the used mouth mask and disinfect themselves completely.

Charlton de Windt, coordinator of CMC Vastgoed, says that each wing and floor has its own air conditioning system. De Windt emphasizes that the airconditioning system the CMC uses guarantees that that there is continuous circulation of fresh air in the hospital. In addition, no air flows from one hospital department to another. The CMC ensures that the corona virus cannot be spread by the air conditioning air.
