Owner ENNIA: substantial losses after setting up emergency regulations

WILLEMSTAD - Yesterday there was a summary proceeding in court were Parman International filed a case against the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten.

Parman International is the owner of the insurance company ENNIA. Parman International does not agree with the emergency regulations that the Central Bank has set up.

 

According to the lawyers, after the emergency regulation for the Ennia Group, "substantial losses" were incurred on investments because accounts were frozen at the Merill Lynch bank.
