WILLEMSTAD - The opposition parties have not yet appeared in the parliament today. For the third time, newly Member of Parliament for coalition party PAR, Shaheen Elhage cannot be sworn in by Governor Lucille George-Wout.

That clears the way for the Kingdom government to intervene. Whether that will take place remains to be seen.

A claim is pending from Shaheen Elhage to force the opposition MPS to be present and to approve his credentials. But his lawyer reports that there is no date yet and treatment may not take place until next week.
