WILLEMSTAD - Since July 1, Curaçao has welcomed over 10,000 passengers from Europe. One visitor was diagnosed with a corona infection. Epidemiologist Izzy Gerstenbluth announced this. According to the epidemiologist, more infections were registered last month, but that is all about people from the U.S. who traveled to Curaçao via Aruba. All patients are quarantined.

29 infections have been registered in Curaçao since the start of the corona pandemic. Of these, 27 people have recovered. There is one active infection on the island. A Dutch tourist died four months ago who was the first infected with the coronavirus.
