OM again demands eighteen years for shooting Spoonz

WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service (OM) has again demanded 18 years against David Statie in the appeal procedure. He is said to have killed Jeangianno Zimmermann in January 2018 at discotheque Spoonz.

The 42-year-old Statie who ended up in a wheelchair after the shooting was acquitted of murder in the First Instance. Apparently, someone else fired the fatal shot. He did have to go to prison for four years for carrying a firearm illegally.

The Public Prosecution Service appealed and now thinks it has the evidence to convict this man.
