WILLEMSTAD - Non-disclosure agreements have been concluded with various parties for the takeover of the Isla refinery.
Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath spoke on this topic today during a press conference. The prime minister was positive and thinks it is feasible to find a partner for the refinery before 1 January 2020. Then the contract with the PDVSA ends.
In the meantime, time is running out for employees of the company. There is money to pay the salaries until July.
Although the prime minister cannot guarantee that there will still be money afterwards, he did say he was doing his best for this.
