WILLEMSTAD - Wastewater from the new hospital is still flowing into the sea. The old hospital (Sehos) did not have a purification system through which sewage and wastewater was dumped at the Rif, but the Curaçao Medical Center also has this problem.

Health Minister Suzanne Camelia Römer states that with the opening of the CMC a big step forward has been made and next June / July a solution for the wastewater will be investigated.

Meanwhile, the wastewater continues to flow into the Rif area with all its consequences.
