No measles detected on visitors Freewinds end of April

WILLEMSTAD - The disease was not found in 108 people who had themselves checked for measles after having visited the Freewinds between 22 and 28 April. According to the Ministry of Health, the chance that this will happen after all is small.

Last week people were called to report to the Public Health Department (GGD) if they had visited the Freewinds during that period. The GGD wants to use this to investigate whether there are more measles cases in Curaçao.

A week ago, that disease was discovered by a crew member of the Freewinds.
