No alcohol, no lockdown yet

WILLEMSTAD - The Minister of Justice Quincy Girigorie announced this afternoon that no lockdown will be announced. There is also no stricter curfew.

But the minister announced that no alcohol may be consumed on the street and other public venues for the next three weeks. However, drinks may be bought in the store and then consumed at home. All casinos must also close. Restaurants are only allowed to have food delivered or take out.

Only restaurants that have space for their customers to sit outdoors are allowed to do so. It is also strongly discouraged to organize parties at home. The measures apply until December 21 but will be evaluated on December 14.

Working from home is encouraged as much as possible.

(We will publish the entire list of measures soon)
