WILLEMSTAD - On Friday, August 7, the new president of the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten, drs. R.A. Doornbosch, in the presence of the Acting Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Michèle Russel-Capriles, took the oath. Mr. Doornbosch has been appointed to his position with effect from July 25, 2020.

On August 7, Mr. Doornbosch also took the oath before the Governor of Sint Maarten via a video connection.
