WILLEMSTAD – The newly elected Members of Parliament of Curaçao will be officially sworn in on Sunday, May 11, 2025, in a formal ceremony before the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout.
The swearing-in will take place at 9:00 AM at the Governor’s Palace, marking the official start of the new legislative term following the recent elections.
Immediately following the ceremony, at 10:00 AM, the first public parliamentary session will be held at the Parliament Building on Wilhelminaplein. During this inaugural session, Parliament will elect a new President and Vice President for the legislative period 2025–2029.
The event is expected to draw public and political attention as the new Parliament begins its work in a time of important legislative and administrative transitions for the country.
