MV Ambition Makes First Visit to Curaçao

WILLEMSTAD – The MV Ambition, operated by Ambassador Cruise Line, arrived at the Mega Pier Ernest Jackie Voges on February 4, 2025, marking its first-ever visit to Curaçao. 

Built in 1999, the ship measures 216 meters in length and has a gross tonnage of 48,123 GT. It has a maximum capacity of 1,670 passengers, and on this voyage, it carried 1,153 passengers along with 503 crew members. The arrival was commemorated with a plaque exchange ceremony between the ship’s captain and representatives of the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA). 

Supporting Local Services 

During its stop in Curaçao, the MV Ambition utilized key port services, including bunkering, fresh water supply, and crew transportation, providing business opportunities for local service providers. 

A Long Voyage Across the Caribbean 

The MV Ambition is currently on a 45-day cruise, titled "Cuba Treasures of the West Indies", which departed from London-Tilbury, England, on January 9, 2025, and is scheduled to conclude on February 23, 2025. Its itinerary includes visits to the Azores, Antigua, Havana, Jamaica, Curaçao, Tobago, and Madeira.
