Motorcycles’ VIN number must correspond to the license plate

WILLEMSTAD - Today was the last day that motorcyclists, moped owners and other two-wheeled vehicles could have their VIN number checked.

There is a factory number on the vehicle that must match the VIN number on the license plate. If this is not the case, an inspection could still be requested until today.

There were also long lines at the police station on Rio Canario. The Public Transport Service advised owners to take a photo of their VIN image after checking and correcting the Vin number.

Traffic checks will be announced from tomorrow. Anyone who is then stopped, and the VIN plate is not in order will have its vehicle removed from the road.
