More than 50,000 people registered for vaccine

WILLEMSTAD - The magical 50,000 mark has been reached for people who have registered to be vaccinated. The government reports this on their social media pages.

"Thanks to all of us, more than 50,000 people have registered to be vaccinated," the government said. "Let's respect anyone who doesn't want to get vaccinated (yet) and encourage those considering it."

The number of registered persons continues to rise because everyone over 18 years old can register and thus be vaccinated since Monday. The number of locations will also be further expanded.

As of yesterday, people can also get vaccinated at naval base Parera. Defense aims to vaccinate 900 to 1000 people per day. The SDK stadium will be used starting this Monday. At least 2000 people have to be vaccinated there every day.
