More people allowed in church

WILLEMSTAD - The diocese of Willemstad yesterday announced the new rules for church visitors. From now on, 250 people are welcome in the church building, instead of the current 100. However, this is only allowed if space permits. Visitors must adhere to social distance and hygiene rules. Registration is kept of those present, in order to keep track of the numbers and in the event of infection to have the details of all churchgoers. A face mask is only mandatory in churches with air conditioning, in churches without air conditioning it is recommended.

The diocese of Willemstad has announced the rules. In addition, Bishop Luis Secco has emphasized that all churchgoers must adhere to the rules in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The decree is valid for Curaçao, but also for Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and Saba.
